E-news May 2018

The 2018 planting season started with 300 pioneer trees being grounded by a small group of twenty very hard working volunteers. So planting is now in full swing. We have 10,000 healthy native trees to be grounded before the end of August. Come with friends or bring the family and enjoy at day in the outdoors planting native trees and leave a legacy for future generations. A reasonable level of fitness is required.

Why not join us on one of the following dates? May 27th, June 10th or 24th, July 8th or 22nd, August 5th or 19th and September 2nd.

Help is also needed on our Saturday set-up, the day before for each public planting day. Plants are taken from the nursery to the planting site and sorted into boxes. There is often time to do some planting once the set-up is finished.
